General comments
Antibiotica aanpassen op geleide van de kweek.
Indien er sprake is van een osteomyelitis dan minimaal 6 weken behandelen.
Na 2-3 weken switch naar oraal.
Overweeg ceftazidim continu te geven.
Denk bij intraveneuze antibiotische therapie >3 dagen aan de mogelijkheid van thuisbehandeling (zie iPortal protocol: OPAT, antibiotica infuustherapie voor thuis).
