General comments
Therapiefalen na eenmalige dosering praziquantel komt frequent (20-30%) voor. Herhalen behandeling na 4 weken.
Katayama-syndroom afhankelijk van verschijnselen behandelen met praziquantel gedurende 3 dagen plus zo nodig corticosteroïden gedurende 3 dagen, herhaling praziquantel 40 mg/kg eenmalig na 3 maanden.
CZS localisatie praziquantel met hoge dosis corticosteroïden (prednison 60 mg/dag) gedurende 14-28 dagen
