General comments
Albendazol tijdens zwangerschap alleen op strikte indicatie gebruiken. Bij dieren is albendazol in therapeutische doseringen schadelijk gebleken.
Albendazol is geregistreerd voor kinderen vanaf 6 jaar. Bij kinderen tussen 1 en 6 jaar is albendazol wereldwijd uitvoering gebruikt en kan overwogen worden.
Tijdens zwangerschap en lactatie bestaat er een contra-indicatie voor gebruik van zowel albendazol en mebendazol.
