General comments
Behandel patiënten met ongecompliceerde acute diverticulitis (Hinchey 1) niet routinematig met antibiotica.
Bij sepsis: eenmalig gentamicine iv 7 mg/kg.
Bij goede kliniek over op augmentin per os.
Denk bij intraveneuze antibiotische therapie >3 dagen aan de mogelijkheid van thuisbehandeling (zie iPortal protocol: OPAT, antibiotica infuustherapie voor thuis).
